LOVERMAN COVER

The Loverman EP from Depeche Mode songwriter Martin L. Gore is released this week. Taken from his acclaimed cover versions album Counterfeit2, Martin's version of the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds classic is a taut and atmospheric electronic version. You can hear an excerpt of this at www.martingore.com and also see an extract of Martin performing Loverman in concert in Milan, a performance which is taken from the live DVD format that accompanies the CD single.

NICK CAVE COLLABORATES WITH MARIANNE FAITHFUL

Unique rock n' roll muse Marianne Faithfull gathers some of the most acclaimed music talents for her new album. Three tracks were co-written with Nick Cave and recorded with Nick Cave & Bad Seeds' Warren Ellis, Jim Sclavunos and Martin P Casey.

Five tracks were also co-written with PJ Harvey and recorded with PJ Harvey and her band. Damon Albarn and Jon Brion also collaborate, each of them co-writting one song with Marianne. The forthcoming album "The Mystery Of Love" is to be released next March (2004).


MICK HARVEY SOUNDTRACK WINS AWARD

Mick Harvey won the award for Best Original Soundtrack for Film and Television for his soundtrack of our film, "Australian Rules" at the Australian Recording Industry Association awards (ARIAS).
