Bad AliasingTuesday, 20 January, 2004 @ 11 pmOkay this doesn't make a lot of sense.
I installed OpenOffice.org, the open-source office suite. It uses the X11 environment, which I know is different from the Aqua environment, but I don't know what's up with the anti-aliasing artifacts that I'm seeing. They look like they *might* support some sort of sub-pixel smoothing technology on an LCD display. But I'm on a CRT so it just sucks. I'm actually hoping that I can look at this entry on my iBook's screen and see a difference in the image above. Maybe there's a setting somewhere that I can re-configure. Not that OO.o is anywhere near fast enough to actually work for me on the Blue and White G3... Ross : Link : Discussion Board |
