Euchrid in Oil

Painting of Euchrid, naked in a swamp, seen from overhead, surrounded by crowsA Nick Cave related exhibition is taking place in San Francisco in September. The Fourteen Passions of Euchrid Eucrow features fifteen paintings by Chris Dennis inspired by Nick Cave's novel And the Ass Saw the Angel and uses the visual device of the Stations of the Cross to depict Euchrid's own glorious descent. More Art with Nick

And http://www.britart.com/ is now displaying a painting by Francis Poole, which is taken from a photo from the Boatman's Call album cover photo shoot. It's interesting. The painting sold for £490 / $690. It was a one-of-a-kind item.

In the interest of keeping this sort of thing available for the long term, I've kept a copy of the painting which was 24" x 24". To see it, click here.
