What is Goodson?

Goodson is an e-mail group dedicated to discussing Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and all thing related (sometimes remotely) to the band, Australia, the band's friends, lovers, enemies, pets, fetishes, releases, and more. It's maintained by Oliver Duke-Williams in his own personal time.

How Do I Subscribe?

To subscribe to the Goodson list, either use the form at the bottom of this page or send an e-mail to majordomo@geog.leeds.ac.uk with the text "subscribe goodson (your_email_address)" in the message body.

To unsubscribe to the Goodson list, either use the form at the bottom of this page or send an e-mail to majordomo@geog.leeds.ac.uk with the text "unsubscribe goodson (your_email_address)" in the message body.

Who Is In Charge?

If you would like further information, contact Oliver Duke-Williams at owner-goodson@geog.leeds.ac.uk. Remember that this is a human being who is doing a wonderful service to the legions of Cave fans out there. Treat him with respect and the occasional envelope full of money.

Where are the Archives?

Is the List Funny?

Goodsoners aren't all dry and boring. They can laugh, even at themselves.

Thanks to a poll and some statistical analysis, we now know the profile of the average Goodson subscriber and stats about other vital statistics.

In late 1996, Denise designed and made custom T-shirts for the members of the Goodson list.

Subscribe/Unsubscribe Form

To subscribe or unsubscribe to the Goodson list fill out the form below with your name, and address, and select whether you are subscribing or unsubscribing. There are also advanced commands available.

Comments: Add any comments you wish to make to the list owner. This mail will be sent to the server that runs the list, the list owner (Oliver), to your Cave Inn host (Ross), and to you.

Is your e-mail address correct?

After you have filled out the form, click "Submit Request" and your e-mail will be sent out to the list's server. Within a few minutes, you will receive an e-mail confirming your request.

Privacy statement: Your e-mail address will only be used for Goodson list management purposes and conversations on the Goodson list. Your e-mail address will not be traded, sold or bartered to any third party by the list owner. Addresses on the list can be obtained by other list members.

If you are having difficulty unsubscribing, use the "Who is Subscribed?" command that is available on the advanced commands page to find the exact e-mail address that the Goodson list software is using to send you mail, then send your request using that exact address.
